As a Graduate Agile consultant, you will play a critical role in facilitating our Agile practice, helping teams deliver innovative solutions efficiently. The role requires a core skill set in agile methodologies with the ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-evolving business landscape.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint review, and retrospective meetings.
• Support the product owner in managing the backlog and guiding the team while facilitating a healthy team dynamic with respect to priorities and scope.
• Ensure the team adheres to Agile principles and practices to deliver high-quality products and services.
• Engage with various stakeholders across the projects, ensuring clear communication and effective resolution of issues.
• Whilst being placed at a client as a Scrum Master/Team Coach may not happen immediately, be ready to support our senior Agile Consultants and Coaches on Client engagements.

Qualifications:

• Completed degree in Business, IT, or related fields.
• Certification in Scrum or Agile methodologies is advantageous but not required

Requirements:

• Leadership Roles: Participation in student organizations, clubs, or leadership positions that demonstrate initiative and organizational skills.
• Project Work: Experience in handling academic or extracurricular projects that involve teamwork and strategic thinking.
• Previous Internship or Work Experience: Prior experience in consulting, or a related field would be advantageous.
• Ability to the travel between IQbusiness and our clients, locally or outside of SA.

Skills & Competency:

• Agile Skills: Strong understanding of Agile practices, roles, tools, and methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively coordinate between team members and stakeholders.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse team dynamics and process to drive improvements.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to tackle complex challenges in a dynamic environment with creativity and efficiency.
• Mindset: growth mindset with a pragmatic attitude of getting stuck in and getting stuff done. “That’s not my job” is not part of your vocabulary.
